Joseph Fess is the Vice President of Lender Products Underwriting at Fortegra.  Joe joined Fortegra in January 2020 and is responsible for the Lender Placed Insurance (LPI) program providing Property coverage for residential and commercial property including Liability coverage for real estate owned (REO) property; the Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) program providing coverage for physical loss to vehicles, equipment and other collateral; and the Real Estate Investor (REI) program providing Property and Premises Liability coverage for investor-owned properties.

Prior to joining Fortegra, Joe has over 25 years of experience in the LPI industry including Claims Manager, Director of Project Management, Sr. Director of Technical Sales, and VP of Business Strategy.  Joe earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a M.S. Degree in Information Systems from Georgia State University.
