Kimberly Winn, CRCM

Director, Compliance Risk Programs, Synovus

Kimberly Winn serves as the Director Compliance Risk Programs for Synovus where she has been employed for 14 years. She is responsible for managing the design and implementation of the compliance management program framework for control exams, self-testing, issue management, third-party risk management (TPRM), third-party strategic partners, and new / modified products and services to ensure proper program management, monitoring and reporting of compliance risk and controls, and associated metrics. She plays a key role in the development, administration, and monitoring of the bank’s compliance management system to ensure compliance with all applicable consumer laws, regulations, and rules covering product offerings and operations. She also serves as the flood subject matter expert for the bank.  Prior to Synovus, Kimberly spent five years at Bank of Hiawassee in a variety of positions. Most notably, she designed and implemented the compliance management program for the bank.

Kimberly earned a bachelor’s degree, double majoring in management and marketing, from North Georgia College and State University. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from Bryan College. She is also a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).
